The Deal

The typical agreement between SEVCO RECORDS and any "Creator" is what we refer to as the "90/5/5" deal. This means 90% of all revenue from records and/or content released through SEVCO RECORDS via any of our "Creators" goes back to the Creator, 5% goes to the label (SEVCO RECORDS), and 5% is retained in a pool and divided evenly among all the Creators signed to SEVCO RECORDS. The pool ensures that we are all invested in each others success in a real way. If one of us is winning, we are all winning.

Does SEVCO RECORDS handle distribution, publishing and mechanical royalties?

Yes! We work closely with artist and brands to capture all available royalties and payouts from their work.
Does SEVCO RECORDS handle social media?

We assist in content creation, bookings and marketing but do not typically manage directly anyones social accounts or posting schedules.
Will I receive a signing bonus?

Signing Bonuses and Advances are decided on a case by case basis and determined by financial projections and a little bit of intuition.
